The WagnerLab is accepting undergraduate DIS students for Spring 2018.
The minimum requirements for prospective DIS students are:
- 3.2 or higher GPA
- Attend weekly lab meetings
- Able to commit to 3 credit hours (9 hours per week)
- Able to closely follow instructions and work as part of a team
Students will learn the basic skills of meta-analysis and will assist in gathering data to understand causal factors of developmental dyslexia. These include phonological processing, genetic risk and environmental influences. The WagnerLab is working to develop a risk calculator for reading disability and associated outcomes. Students will work with Dr Wagner and also with Dr Zirps in the lab.
In the past, high achieving students have earned the opportunity to co-author conference presentations, book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles.
If you are interested, please contact Dr. Zirps. Plan to send a resume and attend an interview.
